Washington D.C. – The NBCC, Diversified Workplace, and American Dream Marketplace announce the launch of Diversity Recruiting Center Network. Diversity Recruiting Center Network focuses on making Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion connections to increase representation of African American Companies, Consumers, and Job Seekers in the marketplace.
The African American community has the highest unemployment rate of all ethnicities at 11.4% states Karen Harlan of Diversified Workplace. The NBCC and Diversified Workplace have partnered to address this disparity in making employment connections to increase African American representation in the workplace.
In addition to creating employment connections, the network has partnered with The American Dream Fund & Marketplace in reaching a growing audience of 130,000 Black Entrepreneurs, Executives, Organizations and Community Leaders. “In the coming months, we look forward to cultivating entrepreneurship in the Black community alongside Diversified Workplace by connecting talented Black entrepreneurs to open roles in corporate America ”concludes Roby Mercharles, VP of Partnerships at The American Dream Fund.
Proceeds from Diversity Recruiting Center Network are invested in African American and Minority communities through entrepreneurship activities, states Charles Debow of the NBCC. Black Business ownership rates have decreased more than 40% since the Covid pandemic began, and this partnership allows us to increase representation of the African American Community while providing resources to enable small diverse businesses.
Diversity Recruiting Center is a Diversity & Inclusion focused job board focused on creating employment connections to increase representation of African Americans in the workforce.
The ADF program was created to catalyze the recovery of the Black business community from the pandemic. We've spent a year developing our platform and maximizing our potential through various activities. The result is a powerful community that can provide high end resources tailored specifically to the needs of Black Owned Businesses.
National Black Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining African-American communities through entrepreneurship and capitalistic activity within the US and via interaction with the African Diaspora.
